Well, a big “THANKS” to all who came out to brave the heat yesterday. It is so much fun when you get something together and then see folks enjoy it. I know the heat was oppressive but I hope we had enough cool spots. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success. Nancy and I didn’t do it alone. Mike thinks we just let him stay as good hosts. We really just had him here to help set up! Thanks for all of you bringing so much food. I think all got their fill. Thanks to all who were kind enough to stay late and help put everythink back in it’s place. I tried to keep the meeting short. We didn’t get Bill’s report on the 501c3 which is now heading for final approval of the IRS. I am waiting to see James R’s “commercial” on Mountain Dew Voltage. Thanks to Mark for mowing for me with the EV Lawn Mower (EVLM). I’m looking forward to our FedEx meeting location to see how we can help each other to further the energy alternatives in transportation. Neal, congrats of you maiden lithium outing. We certainly admire you workmanship on the Golf.

Nancy thinks we should make more of an effort to get more drive/rides done at our meetings. Lets make sure we get everyone envolved with that. Folks will set back and not ask so we need to make an effort to offer up drive/rides. All and all, a nice meeting. Thanks to all for making it so.

John B.
