NTEAA Monthly Meeting

The Urban Reserve was gracious enough to have us at their great location. NTEAA was given tours of some of the houses and learned a lot about the Green Living that they are striving for. This is a very neat community and really shows us all what we could be doing to help with our footprint on this world. If you happen to be in this area, you should definitely look at this area, it is very impressive. All of the buildings are rated Gold or Platinum on their green builds. Those are the highest ratings to get for green building.
We had quite a few EVs there, John’s Fiero, Nancy’s Sparrow, Neal’s Golf, and Don’s E-Jeep. They were all giving rides and enjoying the scenery. Don towed his vehicle into town but once he was here, he drove around town some before going home. Jared brought his newly acquired Battery Electric Lawnmower, so no more stinky gas for Jared to mow his lawn.
As usual, there was a lot of discussion about EVs but also on the office positions with John leaving. We learned that Abrahms is starting his EV and will have a lot of work done shortly with the help he has coming. We discussed the Scooter challenge a little bit that will be going on at the next meeting.
