We participated in Earth Day Texas at Fair Park in Dallas by showing both EV conversions and production EVs (Leaf plus some Chinese car I don’t remember the name of). Group members took turns answering questions and enjoying the nice weather under the shade of a big Oak tree.

Earth Day was lightly attended by the NTEAA club. We had 4 cars on display on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. Neal’s VW, Mike’s VW, The Miles NEV, and my new Leaf on Saturday, just me and Neal on Sunday.
Attendance for the event was pretty good, and the test drive of the BMW was awesome. There were 24 Teslas there on Saturday.

Here is a link to a YouTube Video that one of the Tesla owners did of the Earth Day Dallas Event.

With more than 800 exhibits, the Eco Expo provides a public forum for leaders in the corporate, academic, government, and nonprofit worlds to expose Texans to information on hundreds of environmental topics that are pressing, engaging, and actionable.
EDTx and Texas Music Project, a nonprofit supporting music education in Texas schools, are hosting the first EDTx Rising Stars Competition and Music Showcase. Come see local, talented youth perform at EDTx.
